The Web Services Connector offers two tiers of security. Index level security ensures sub second search results, while an additional (though optional) real time security check will pick up any security changes made between crawls.

The Longitude Connector UI enables simulated crawls. This powerful feature provides the Admin with the ability to test the impact of any configuration change and see the result as the simulated crawls runs.

| Automatic Mapping of Active Directory Accounts to that of the Connected System |
Web Services Connector enables scheduled import of Active Directory Users and Groups. These are then mapped to the accounts in the connected system automatically. The Admin can manually change any security setting if desired.
